About The Project
The unit operates as a Lidl food store and measures 2,152 sq.m (GIA). It provides a sales area of 1,237 sq.m, which includes an instore bakery.
The alterations include:
• Additional glazing to frontage
• Existing rendered walls painted white
• Plinth walls finished in corporate grey
• Advertisements will be added
External alterations made to the front of the building, to make it more modern with large areas of glazing alongside detailed materials and features. The base of the existing
external wall cladding on the north, west and east elevations have been raised to maximise glazed areas to the customer entrances and Lidl sales area, to create an active shop frontage along Stanwell Road. The existing facing brickwork is rendered and has been painted white, with a low-level plinth painted
grey’.
